Six Sigma White Belt (SSWB) or Introductory/Awareness Training:
- A SSWB is an individual with a basic level awareness of
the concepts and tools of six sigma. An individual who completes SSWB awareness training can actively support six
sigma projects
- PPI offers both a full-day and a half-day
SSWB session. The difference is the depth of the basic six sigma Body of Knowledge (BOK) covered during the session

- Note there is no formal SSWB certification
exam from the American Society for Quality (ASQ) or other accrediting organization

Green Belt (SSGB):
- A SSGB supports six sigma
projects to analyze and solve quality problems and is involved in quality improvement projects
- PPI offers a five-day session to train SSGB candidates on the ASQ Body of
Knowledge (BOK) with materials from the Quality Council of Indiana (QCI)
- Examples from your organization can be included in the material for in class exercises
- Additional support to register and prepare your SSGB candidates
for the ASQ certification exam is also available
